DETECTION TIPS

Here at Suresearch Australia we always try to give our customers as much knowledge as possible. Even when our team is not onsite we are still here to help.
Listed are some tips to find out weather or not you have a leak lurking in your yard or house
- If your water meter reading changes when you are not using any water, you are more than likely to have a leak (mark the indicator on your water meter and do not use any water for 1 hour. Then check the meter if the indicator has moved; if so - you may have a leak).
- A leak may be prevalent if you can smell foul odours coming from floors, walls near drains or sewers. Dampness can bring mould so your leak should be diagnosed quickly.
- Cracks, uneven growing of vegetation and earth movement for no apparent reason are often the aftermath of leaks. The severity of the leak will often determine the amount of damage incurred.
- If you can hear the constant sound of water running (sounding like a toilet filling up) when nothing is turned on, then you should have a leak detection technician investigate immediately. The sooner the leak is found and treated then the aftermath of a leak can be drastically reduced.
